Please double-check that the batteries are installed with the correct polarity (+ and -).
If the battery polarity is correct and the device still won't power on, could you also please try connecting the device to a power source using a USB cable via the port on the bottom?
This will help to determine if the issue might be related to the battery compartment or the overall power system.
