Overview

When configuring passcodes for the DS10 Pro Smart Lock, the allowed passcode length varies depending on whether you are using the Mobile APP or setting it directly on the physical lock keypad.

1. Setting Up Passcode via Mobile APP (Restriction: 6–8 Digits)

When adding or managing administrator/user passcodes through the smartphone application:

• Length Limitation: Must be between 6 and 8 digits.

• Applicable for: Administrator passcode, quick user management, temporary keys, or standard family passcodes.

• Note: Entering a passcode shorter than 6 digits or longer than 8 digits in the APP will result in an error. 

  Once the lock and your phone are paired, the default admin passcode 123456 is invalid. The first code you set is the admin passcode; it can be changed or deleted.

   

2. Setting Up Passcode Directly on Keypad (Supported: 4–9 Digits)

If you wish to set a shorter (e.g., 4-digit) or longer (e.g., 9-digit) customized passcode, please program it directly on the lock's touch keypad:

• Length Limitation: Supports 4 to 9 digits.
